We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Business Applications & IT Platform Support Manager to join the Information Technology Team.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will be supporting and maintaining the enterprise software estate which is comprised of locally installed commercial applications, custom developed solutions, and cloud-based technologies. They will also be accountable for supporting the users of these applications so that they can achieve their desired business outcomes. Finally, they will be leading a team of application support specialists and need to coach, develop, and drive them to success.

A successful Business Applications & IT Platform Operations Manager must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. They must possess exceptional troubleshooting skills and be able to drive their team to quickly assess and resolve complex problems with applications. The Business Applications & IT Platform Operations Manager will work with members of the Enterprise Development team, IT Operations, IT Security, and other members of the CohnReznick Team.

This position reports directly to the Head of IT Operations.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The goal is to support all the production applications in use at the firm and the team that maintains them. The members of that team provide the following:

Acts as subject matter experts (SMEs) of the product or service or the app workings within the assigned area of ownership

Keeps up to date on the accountable product or component or the app with latest changes deployed and changes in the pipeline

Supports verifying current functionality in production

Supports verifying deployment of new functionality

Supports processes that are currently manual to look for opportunities to automate as much as possible

Monitors interfaces and application components

Services support tickets related to assigned area of ownership with consultation and coordination as needed to resolve issues or incidents reported

Performs root cause analysis

Recommends best practices or improvements in current product or in the area of ownership for better support or user experience

Owns on-call support during releases/deployments and external coverage

Personalizes these applications and the user interfaces to meet the specification of the customers (where possible)

Configures Application Extensions

Supports changes in business processes

Acts as system/service administrator in systems to control access using the least rights methodology for role access

Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as the IT Application SME

Managing all the activities of the team and set goals for each team member

Providing guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to operational standards

Hiring, mentoring, training, coaching, and upskilling the team members

Serving as the primary liaison to vendors and contractor resources supporting the tech stack

Managing all administrative related activities like budgeting, software and service renewals, purchasing, GRC/Security reviews and remediation, Risk Acceptance renewals, etc.

Ensuring proper application artifacts are created and maintained for user, process, and system documentation. This includes items such as business processes, technical processes, integration points, software specific documents, and knowledge base articles
