Robert Half Case Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Team Lead in the non-profit sector based in Chicago, Illinois. The role is primarily focused on supporting communities and families, with a particular emphasis on Spanish-speaking individuals. As a Team Lead, you will be instrumental in facilitating the integration of families into their chosen communities, overseeing a variety of tasks from budget management to school enrolment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the integration of families into their chosen communities by providing necessary support and guidance.

• Coordinate with various organizations such as schools and housing agencies to ensure smooth transition for families.

• Utilize your Spanish language skills to effectively communicate with families, especially those whose first language is Spanish.

• Lead and manage a team dedicated to providing assistance to families.

• Oversee the distribution of grants and other financial resources to families in need.

• Continuously monitor and update the records of families being assisted.

• Resolve any inquiries or concerns raised by the families in a timely and respectful manner.

• Collaborate with hotels and other housing providers to ensure suitable accommodation for families.

• Use your leadership skills to manage and motivate your team effectively.

• Handle data entry tasks related to loan reviews and other financial processes. Requirements • Proven experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization

• Proficiency in Spanish translation

• Experience in loan review processes

• Demonstrated ability in data entry tasks

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to inspire and motivate team members

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong understanding of non-profit industry and its unique challenges and opportunities

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to organization's mission and values

• High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a constantly evolving sector.
