KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Finance and Accounting to join our CFO organization.
Responsibilities:
Act as a change leader to advance the financial strategy of the function as well as the CFO finance transformation; leverage strong business relationships coupled with insightful analysis of data and trends that yield accurate and predictive planning and forecasting
Deliver in-depth analysis and data-driven insights related to the function's strategic and operating planning activities; recognize and understand historical business trends and how they impact the future for earlier problem identification and operationalize course corrections
Place emphasis on the future such as fiscal year to go and a three-year Medium-Term outlook, utilizing a forward-thinking lens for more predictive insights; collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
Display a strong executive presence, including the ability to clearly and concisely tell the business story that supports the numbers; serve as a trusted business advisor with an independent point of view that can effectively collaborate across the function and finance to arrive at the best solution
Identify vague and complex issues with actionable recommendations that impact the bottom line, minimizes risk or optimizes opportunities or improves efficiencies
Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart; shape the finance team's development and succession planning by providing mentoring, coaching, guidance and support to enhance overall capabilities
Qualifications:
Minimum twelve years of recent progressive financial planning and analysis experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Proven experience in a strategic finance role, with a minimum five years in a leadership capacity
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results driven mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
