Google Director, Finance Transformation, Quote to Report and Tax in Chicago, Illinois

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience leading finance process and systems transformation initiatives in the complete Quote to Report or Tax, Treasury, and International processes.

  • Experience leading the complete Quote to Report and Tax, Treasury, and International processes (e.g., lead management, contract lifecycle management, deal desk, configure-price-quote, order booking, invoicing, cash receipts, collections, disputes, treasury operations, revenue recognition and reporting, statutory reporting, tax, and compliance).

  • Experience in program management, overseeing cross-functional programs, and with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the implementation of SAP (e.g. BRIM and RAR) and related systems, emerging technologies, and process improvement techniques.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.

  • Passion for innovation, collaboration, and leadership.

In this role, you will lead, design, and deploy finance transformation programs with a focus on Quote to Report and Tax, Treasury and International processes. You'll provide strategic and operational thought leadership, influence stakeholders, and drive change throughout the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $243,000-$350,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with leaders to prioritize programs, assess opportunities, and ensure resourcing.

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders, monitor progress, and report on key metrics.

  • Employ program management methodology, lead governance forums, and drive compliance.

  • Partner with process owners to establish KPIs, facilitate business reviews, and monitor performance.

  • Collaborate with process owners to define best practices, connect E2E process flows, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Engineering on solutions and support Finance teams in developing and deploying new tools and processes.
