What the day will look like

The Innovation and Commercialization Product Manager, AVP is responsible for supporting core business growth across 4 key pillars; Thought Leadership, Solution Development, Vendor Partnerships and Commercialization. The Innovation and Commercialization team is a group of thought leaders, subject matter experts, and solution developers, that work with internal and external stakeholders to bring critical expertise and solutions to clients. This role will report directly to the Solution Management and Commercialization Program Leader.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Health Solutions Thought Leadership through analyzing surveys, point-of-views, white papers and other materials to promote market presence

  • Integrating Thought Leadership into the commercialization of new and existing solutions to clearly articulate client value

  • Exploring and managing vendor partnerships and solutions

  • Developing a portfolio of new growth solutions & optimizing the performance of existing solutions

  • Connecting and informing our colleagues, our clients, and the marketplace about new and emerging trends

  • Fostering a differentiated commercial orientation across internal stakeholders

  • Modeling a “one-firm” mindset at all times

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Analytical Thinking: Gains an accurate understanding of the project situation and quickly recognizes when additional information is required. Maintains the necessary foresight to identify potential complications and acts swiftly to avoid and/or resolve these issues. Analyzes requests and proposes alternative solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency, where applicable.

  • Communication: Demonstrates a professional approach and strong oral/written communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Process requests thoroughly and accurately. Completes work diligently and carefully upfront to avoid re-work later.

  • Project Management: Establishes priorities for multiple tasks/projects based on timeliness, importance, and urgency of project completion. Ensures that all work obstacles are addressed to minimize wasted time and reprioritize projects as required.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7+ Years of work experience

  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $170,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York City. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
