job summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Security Manager to oversee our client's information security policies and procedures. Role will be responsible for managing the security team, conducting risk assessments, implementing security controls, monitoring compliance, and responding to incidents. You will also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that security standards and best practices are aligned with the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Under the direction of the IT Leadership Team, manage and coordinate the IT security function for the Lawson Products enterprise using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the information security strategy, policies, and procedures
Manage the security team and provide guidance and training on security topics
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
Implement and monitor security controls and tools to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems
Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and regulations
In partnership with our MSSP, coordinates and leads the incident response and recovery process
Report on the security status and performance to senior management and stakeholders
Research and evaluate emerging security trends and technologies

Minimum 5 years of experience
