Google Performance Specialist, Large Customer Sales in Chicago, Illinois

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.

  • Experience working with digital organizations.

  • Experience identifying and recommending ways to improve product and customer strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience identifying and recommending new processes, procedures, and methods for product adoption strategy, addressing future needs by partnering and collaborating with regional partners/stakeholders.

  • Experience with Performance Max or similar products leveraging product and domain knowledge to increase product adoption.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships across teams and functions to address customer needs.

  • Ability to be a thought leader of products and competitive landscape.

In this role, you will lead the activation and acceleration for Google's advertisers in the Education Vertical, helping them drive quality performance at scale. The team delivers thought leadership and trusted partnership on the customers' journey to AI adoption. The team solves customers' challenges, delivers performance at scale, and sets the pace for other performance focused advertisers across the region.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Collaborate with internal sellers and customers on adoption from strategic pitching through implementation.

  • Partner with GPS, go-to-market, and Product teams on product roadmap, funneling customer feedback to inform advancements.

  • Work with customers in the Education vertical while also delivering scaled support through Vertical-wide activations.

  • Work within the broader SDS Performance Specialist organization to understand the full suite of Google Performance products (e.g., Search Campaigns in Google Ads, SA360), as well as across Specialist teams in Measurement and Video/Programmatic.

  • Own the strategy for SDS, identifying top opportunities, and contributing to scalable resources and identifying gaps to accelerate adoption.
