Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S. Inc. seeks Product Software Engineer III in Chicago, IL.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that make clinical decision support (CDS) and related content available to customers.
- Develop software that is distributed and scalable, while still maintaining health privacy and security at the highest levels.
- Work closely with other team members, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to come up with practical solutions to technical challenges.
- Work in an Agile environment with daily team check ins, regular planning meetings, and sprint review meetings.
- Participate in software code reviews, providing constructive feedback by applying engineering best practices and standards.
- Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of related experience. Additionally, position requires any amount of experience with each of the following:
- Developing software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and NodeJS.
- Working with Health Level 7 International (HL7) healthcare interoperability standards.
- Deploying applications using cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and technologies including Docker.
- Modern software version control using Git.
- Common web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- SQL databases.
