The RVP of Revenue Management and Analytics, LAC will direct the Revenue Management and Analytics disciplines for the Latin America and Caribbean region for all managed Select Service, Full Service, and All Inclusive hotels. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic, tactical, and systems support. In this role, the RVP of Revenue Management, LAC will be collaborating closely with the broader revenue management and commercial teams, where they will be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. This individual will be counted on to not only drive best-in-class revenue management practices but to roll out the new Hyatt PrO (Ideas) platform, as well as build the strongest Revenue Management organization in the industry. The position reports to the Vice President of Commercial Services, LAC.

A successful Regional VP - Revenue Management and Analytics, Latin America & Caribbean will:

  • Oversee all aspects of Hyatt’s overall revenue management and analytics function for the Latin America & Caribbean region, working closely with peers in related and affected functional areas.

  • Ensure strong coordination between the pricing and yield management functions with corporate and in the regions

  • Direct the development and analysis of business and industry market forecasts and assumptions including the development of revenue forecasts, annual and long-range plans

  • Analyze and communicate results of strategies and tactics deployed monthly to regional and corporate teams and whenever necessary the ownership/operator groups.

  • Monitor market performance to ensure revenue objectives are achieved and implement appropriate revenue growth strategies to correct performance shortfalls.

  • Lead Regional Quarterly Business Review process for the revenue function, aggregating performance results and forward outlook, supporting VP of Commercial Services in developing regional revenue strategy to achieve results.

  • Oversee the ongoing adaption, refinement, and active usage of Hyatt’s proprietary revenue management system. This includes integration of Hyatt’s proprietary revenue management system into the Inclusive Collection portfolio.

  • Leads strategic revenue partnership and strategy for key Inclusive Collection partners including ALG Vacations and UVC.

  • Drive synergy between Inclusive Collection and FS/SS teams, ensuring that in core markets such as Cancun, Hyatt is strategically growing portfolio market share and not competing between existing properties.

  • Collaborate with Development, Design, and Feasibility on future hotel projects in the region, participating in Hotel programming discussions and Pro Forma process to ensure revenue perspective is considered in growth opportunities.

  • Motivate and provide talent assessment growth planning and mentoring to a team of highly skilled revenue management professionals and specialists for Full Service, Select Service, and Inclusive Collection. This leader will work with the Regional Directors of Revenue Management to develop high-potential individuals for succession or rotation to other resorts in the region.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company and its commercial agenda as part of the leadership team at the company.

  • Oversee coordination with marketing, sales, planning, operating divisions, finance, and other company departments required to accomplish the department’s functional responsibilities.

Qualifications:

A successful Regional VP - Revenue Management and Analytics, Latin America & Caribbean will have:

· 15 years’ experience in Revenue Management. Significant experience in the leadership of all or part of a well-respected revenue management function within a company and industry that is highly dependent on revenue management as a core competence (e.g., hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental, or gaming-preferably). Consideration will also be given to individuals experienced in revenue management solutions from the consulting/services arena, but preference will be given to those with prior experience.

· Expertise with revenue management information systems – Information systems literacy, necessary to Hy PrO (Idea’s Platform), and a strong affinity for optimizing systems in day-to-day use.

· Transformational change experience – Experience developing new strategies, establishing vision, and leading business change across people, systems, and processes to centralize the revenue management function and realign the regional teams that support it

· Experience working in Latin America or Caribbean markets preferred.

Additional Required Experience:

· Know and comply with Hyatt/ALG/AMR corporate policies.

· Know and execute all procedures related to his/her area, department, and position.

· Participate and complete all training and development programs, both institutional and technical.

· Participate in all integration and motivation activities, developed by the company.

· Identify and share good practices, focused on improving financial results, guest satisfaction, and employee and Owner satisfaction.
