Job Summary

The Senior Associate Director, Employer Programs and Events is responsible for strategic leadership of operational activities related to employer engagement, recruiting, and interviewing to ensure the team meets the evolving needs and expectations of employers, students, and alumni. As a key member of the Operations team, the Senior Associate Director will collaborate with the Senior Director and colleagues within the Operations and Employer Relations teams to drive innovation and enable access to company events, interviews, and networking opportunities for Booth MBA students in the Full-Time, Evening, and Weekend programs, and students matriculating in Booth\'s newest programs, including Master in Management and Master in Finance.

Responsibilities

Leads Employer Programs and events operations activities. Provides strategic leadership in defining the future of campus recruiting in light of new employer approaches to engaging students.

Manages and develops the Assistant Director of Employer Programs and Events. Hires and manages up to four temporary seasonal employees annually. Manages resource allocation decisions for Employer Relations programs.

Collaborates with the Employer Relations team to develop and implement programs and events, and facilitates campus interviews. Plays a key role in balancing employer requests with calendar limitations and student needs.

Provides operational leadership for a robust schedule of Career Services programs and events for MBA and Specialized Masters students. Leads the development of processes and systems to support Specialized Masters recruiting. Oversees operational aspects of campus recruiting for MBA students. Programs include pre-recruiting events (e.g., career fairs, employer information sessions, and meet-n-greets) and interviews.

Works closely with Career Services leadership team to align booking reservation processes with strategic goals of the Career Services team. Oversees processes to manage the recruiting calendar, event space employer communication, and run multi-company events.

Provides strategic oversight forstudent-focused content related to interviews, events, and recruiting policies. Utilizes SEO techniques to optimize website visibility and improve search engine performance. Collaborates with the Employer Relations team and marketing department to lead the design and maintenance of web pages and online content for companies looking to engage with Booth students.

Develop budget and track event-related costs versus budget; flag deviations and recommend adjustments as necessary. Lead vendor negotiations; evaluate and monitor vendor performance.

Serves as the Career Services lead on multi-departmental committees and coordinates perspective and involvement from Career Services for new projects, programs, and technology tools.

Oversees end-to-end project management for employer relations events, such as the Recruiters Conference, Industry Roundtables, and Second-Year Roundtables. This includes budgeting, project management, convening teams, marketing, and post-event debriefs. Manages process to evaluate programs, projects, and process effectiveness and drive individual and team continuous improvement efforts.

Manages coordination of virtual and in-person information sessions for students on behalf of employers. Events attract between 10 and 300 attendees. Works with Assi
