Snapsheet seeks Senior QA Engineers in Chicago, IL.
- Take ownership of major features in Snapsheet product launch, independently drive and complete all testing activities from beginning to end: ensure test planning, test execution, bug
resolution and status reporting are completed on time.
- Proactively manages tasks and time frames, prioritizing appropriately and asking for additional time and resources when necessary.
- Proactively identifies potential issues and communicates with appropriate parties.
- Uncovers root cause of issues through researching and asking insightful/critical questions.
- Create, develop and maintain product-specific test automation suites and integrate automated tests into the CI pipeline.
- Anticipate changes and customer needs and provide timely support.
{=html} <!-- --> - Help to fill communication gaps among multiple parties working on the project so all are on the same page with requirements, designs, timelines and expectations. - Assist QA lead/manager to identify and create appropriate quality metrics. - Become the subject matter expert on all Snapsheet products that you have tested, be a resource for others on product features. - Review and understand product specifications and feature requirements. - Create test plans and test strategies. - Develop, document, and maintain functional and regression test cases and other test artifacts. - Test execution on planned test cases, exploratory tests and ad hoc tests. - Test results tracking. - Issue triage, resolution and prevention. - Providing QA reporting including test status and defect status. - Ensure all deliverables meet functional and design requirements and technical specs.

Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 years of experience. Requires 3 years of experience in Leading automated testing efforts for web applications. Requires 3 years of experience in one or more programming languages ( Java, Python, and/or Javascript), SQL. Requires 3 years of experience in one or more testing software (Selenium or Cucumber). Requires 1 year of experience in API testing using Postman. Requires 1 year of experience in mentoring QA team members.
