Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in CHICAGO, Illinois, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Generate and post journal entries for accurate record maintenance

• Perform month end close activities in a timely and efficient manner

• Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks and procedures

• Maintain accurate records and provide timely financial information to the team

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports as needed

• Work closely with the team to improve financial processes and systems.

Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations is a must.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations is a must.

• Candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding and ability to perform Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience with Journal Entries is required.

• Ability to handle Month End Close processes effectively and efficiently.

• Candidate should be proficient in using NetSuite for accounting tasks.
