A career in our Income Franchise practice, within State and Local Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients solve their business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. You’ll help with assessing our client’s state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives to ensure that their filling positions are consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules.
Our team helps our clients develop favourable solutions related to income and franchise tax controversies. You’ll help develop a strategy for our clients to stay ahead of and manage state and local tax burdens and to identify opportunities that result from evolving changes in legislation and administrative policy changes.

The Opportunity
As part of the State and Local Tax team you are responsible for providing benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies in tax advisory services. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain exceptional standards while building meaningful client connections and navigating ambiguity. You are also responsible for managing engagements, preparing accurate documents, and leveraging large data sets to build models.

What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2 years of experience

Technical skills including FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies

The salary range for this position is: $83,000 - $208,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
