Our dynamic growth and continued success has created a new opportunity for a Sr. Structural Engineer/Project Manager in our Chicago Loop office. Every project brings a new puzzle that requires creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills. This position offers the opportunity to become part of a well-established structural group.
Responsibilities may include:
Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
Design and analyze structural systems for mid-rise buildings.
Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
Assist senior staff with construction administration and construction management projects .
In order to be considered for our Structural Engineer position, we are considering candidates who possess the following basic qualifications:
Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings.
Experience managing projects.
Professional registration as a SE.
Working knowledge of REVIT.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience and skill set, as well as internal and external equity.)
