Starbucks Business Development Manager (Commercial Partnerships) in Chiswick, United Kingdom

As a Business Development Manager, you possess the confidence to eloquently express business requirements and are unafraid to challenge both internal and external stakeholders. Your role involves merging business development and general management to ensure the needs of the Customer, Partner, and Business are all satisfied. This role goes beyond traditional business development, requiring you to offer innovative solutions and embrace challenges that promote personal growth and development. Collaboration with multiple business functions and external partners will be essential.

As the Business Development Manager, you will work on a crucial business partnership with a key strategic partner focusing on either the RTD Coffee or At Home Coffee categories in the EMEA region and new & emerging markets. Your duties will involve enhancing Starbucks' presence, sales, and profits throughout the region.

You will ensure rigour around the operating model by ensuring robust process around annual planning, tracking and reporting (financial plans, quarterly business reviews, monthly tracking etc).

The Key Requirements...

  • A broad and deep understanding of the current and future needs of the CPG consumer and customer, in the RTD category in the retail environment

  • Strong commercial and practical sensibility

  • Experience analysing consumer base, competitive market and customer base data.

  • Experience managing change through indirect teams.

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
