Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Manager Commercialization in Chiyoda-ku, Japan

Are you ready to be a part of Regeneron’s newly created Japan country organization? We are seeking a Senior Manager Commercialization to support the creation and execution of local commercialization activities focused on our sales teams in Immunology. A typical day may include:

  • Working with the Associate Director Commercialization Japan on implementing local commercialization strategies across assigned therapeutic areas in cooperation with our Alliance partner.

  • Ensuring a successful and productive working relationship with cross-functional colleagues and Regeneron’s co-commercialization partner as a primary point of contact.

  • Partnering with the sales team to provide brand strategic direction.

  • Providing high-quality inputs to local market development and commercial activities for Immunology indications in cooperation with the Commercialization Associate Manager.

  • Supporting the implementation of local tactical plans and the provision of marketing/sales support materials.

  • Ensuring tracking of agreed KPIs to allow early course correction and ensure execution of key tactics.

  • Collaborating and providing input to Regeneron’s regional organization on strategies, tactics, and insights.

  • Ensuring the development of the field force (e.g., providing sales strategy, appropriate tactical tracker) in collaboration with our partner.

  • Ensuring close collaboration with the REGN global marketing team as part of the global brand planning process.

This role might be for you if:

  • You have an established track record in successful marketing and sales management in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • You possess outstanding knowledge of specialty care commercialization in Japan.

  • You have strong business and analytical skills for ease of tracking and communicating key KPIs/metrics.

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have experience managing marketing or sales-related teams for day-to-day operational activities (direct people management experience is not required).

  • You have experience in day-to-day operational alliance management as a point of contact.

  • You have strong project and process skills with attention to detail.

  • You can operate in a fast-paced launch environment.

  • You are an energetic self-starter with a pragmatic and operationally oriented working style, excellent planning, and organizing skills.

  • You are willing to travel approximately 10-20% and travel on weekends to conferences and meetings as needed.

To be considered:

  • You must have a business degree; a life science degree is a plus.

  • You must be fluent in Japanese and have business-level English proficiency.

  • You should have 10+ years of progressive industry/relevant professional experience, with 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or related experience.

  • Immunology/biologics/specialty care experience is strongly preferred.

  • Previous work within a co-promote or Alliance is strongly preferred.
