Provides information regarding scheduling to patients for all of UC Health. Schedules appointments for multiple divisions. Works with staff to ensure operational effectiveness.Education: High School Diploma/GED required Experience: Two years of related experience in medical setting, or one year of previous healthcare call center or customer service experience, or 3 or more years of call center experience Basic healthcare knowledge required
- The Outpatient Diagnostic Scheduler will work within our Centralized Diagnostic Scheduling Department to support scheduling for multiple modalities.

``` - The scheduler is responsible to make outbound calls as well as answer inbound calls and schedule and pre-register patients for procedures.

``` - Handles both inbound and outbound scheduling calls based on department service level goals and addresses customer's concerns in a satisfactory manner.

``` - Requires excellence in customer service and telephone etiquette.

``` - Uses clinical knowledge to receive orders for review and clarification when needed.

``` - Must show basic knowledge with insurance benefits, coverage verification, network access, coordination of benefits (COB), payment calculation, and referral requirements.
