Job Overview The College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies is seeking a dynamic communications leader to strengthen strategic messaging with internal and external stakeholders. The Communications Director will be a member of the CCPS Senior Staff team. This position is a full-time, 12-month administrative role and reports to the Dean. CCPS participates in the University's alternative work program; the Communication Director's schedule is negotiable. Essential Functions Lead and supervise CCPS communication and marketing team (3 FTE). Establish cohesive communication strategy, college voice and consistent messaging and implement across multiple mediums/platforms. Effectively compile and utilize data to tell the CCPS story; maintain the college's official data repository. Create and implement recurring communication cycles and oversee centralized processes for official data reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Oversee development and execution of all CCPS communications, internal and external, including websites, social media, print/digital materials, and newsletters targeting various audiences including current and prospective students and parents, current and prospective employer partners, internal college partners, etc. Serve as main liaison to UC Marketing and Communications and Provost's Office Communications; support and collaborate on centralized efforts including media relations, marketing campaigns, etc. Create effective, strategic presentations for college leadership. Required Education Bachelor's Degree Required Experience Seven (7) years of relevant experience Additional Qualifications Considered Master's degree in related field. Evidence of strong written and verbal skills. Minimum of 2- 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience with various communication technologies. Experience working in large, complex organizations.
