Job Overview: Must Coordinate clinical education. Provides: administration, organization, and oversee supervision of student clinical experience; ensure documentation/evaluation/progression of clinical performance/competence; continuous quality review and improvement of clinical experience; academic oversight, curriculum planning & development of clinical experience; ensure orientation to program requirements of personnel (supervise/instruct) at clinical sites. Coordinate assignments of students with clinical sites. Also responsible for: didactic (online or in-person) and skills lab instruction (in-person); directs and guides program instructors; any other duties assigned as needed. Must maintain all defined required/mandatory professional development. Must be a current CST with all requirements fulfilled. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Graduate of surgical technology program accredited by national programmatic accreditation agency Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Nationally certified with NBSTSA as Certified Surgical Technician currently and must maintain certification, and any other credentials a person may currently and/or are required by GSC. Drivers License Possess: Certified Surgical Technologist: accredited by National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA). 5-7 years Technical experience in Healthcare Previous experience as Surgical Technology faculty preferred. Preferred proficiency: instructional methodology, curriculum design, program planning, & online instruction methodology.
