We provide timely support through a variety of programs, including crisis management, conflict resolution, emergency response. Job Overview The Program Coordinator for the Division of Student Affairs is responsible for the day to day functions of Bearcats Pantry, and assisting with managing cases referred to the CARE Team and providing support services to CARE Team referred students, Managing the Bearcats Pantry and Career Closet, and assisting the Assistant Dean of Students in addressing students in crisis include coordinating food drives, marketing, coordinating volunteers, and following up with users of the pantry. The program coordinator will work closely with various key stakeholders (Student Affairs offices, Resident Education and Development, Campus services, UCPD, Parking Services) and community resources to identify and develop numerous resources to assist students who are experiencing crisis. The program coordinator will report to the Assistant Dean of Students and will reside in the Dean of Students Office. This is a full-time; 12-month position. Although the majority of the position will function as described in the job description, some aspects are subject to change due to evolving departmental needs. Essential Functions * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the BCP and Resource Center * Provide supervision of student staff and volunteers * Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or programs. * Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement. * Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports. * Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants. * Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments. * May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes. * Perform related duties based on departmental need. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience One (1) year of program coordination experience.
