Job Overview The Office of Strategic Initiatives and Academic Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for a full-time Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have some working knowledge of scholarship fund implementation and donor fund management. The program manager will liaise with the University of Cincinnati Foundation team. The College of Arts & Sciences is one of the largest colleges at the university consisting of 14-departments with more than 400 full-time represented faculty members, over 180 unrepresented staff employees and more than 8,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Essential Functions * Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. * Implement policies and procedures. * Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. * Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. * May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. * May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). * Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. * Act as a donor fund liaison between the College of Arts and the University of Cincinnati Foundation. * Act as the donor fund liaison between units and the college. * Track scholarships and scholarship recipients Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
