Jacobs Project Engineer / Design Manager LSNA - Cincinnati, OH (20912) in Cincinnati, Ohio
We're looking for a Project Engineer/Design Manager (Hybrid) in (Cincinnati, OH) who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Communication and Reporting:
• Report directly to the Project Manager
• Communicates and works with the Project Manager, Project BIM Coordinator and Design Leads to ensure efficient management of both multidiscipline coordination and design issues.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation of 3D Model review strategy in coordination with Project Controls, Engineering and Construction.
• Develop the 3D Model Review schedule with the Project Scheduler and Project Manager
• Leads the clash resolution review sessions.
• Responsible for system technical discussions, viewing and manipulation of plant design, as well as document and resolve conflicts within the model
• Ensures the overall project design and production process is conducted following the prescribed Company processes and procedures and is in accordance with the stipulated project budget and schedule (including planning, monitoring and reporting)
• Ensures the project is following the Basis of Design by performing inter-disciplinary quality, coordination and space management reviews via weekly reviews with project teams.
• Ensures the project is adhering to a strict change management process by supporting the Project Manager in developing applicable change notices.
• Single point of contact for all design related issues internally and externally, representing the overall project in communications with the client, having final technical accountability for overall project design and production (includes managing consultants not managed under other respective Disciplines)
• Planning and assigning personnel for given projects or tasks and deliverables.
• Providing work direction mentoring for less experienced engineers and technicians

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or other equivalent, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 10 years of experience working on manufacturing projects as a design lead, project engineer, or project manager, leading projects, preferably in a pharma/bio environment
• Software knowledge of Revit to and BIM
• Interdisciplinary knowledge of design of facilities to be able to understand and direct disciplines on where services should be located/run.
• Proven ability to understand project schedules and provide multi-discipline feedback on the same
• Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
