In addition, we offer opportunities for career growth, professional development, and tuition assistance. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Quality Control Assistant Manager. As a member of the QC team, the position is focused in coordinating, executing, and reviewing the training of all QC analysts. Additionally, this position performs laboratory testing of finished products and supporting materials accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Core Responsibilities Trained and capable of executing all key tests for the laboratory. Develops training modules and/or materials for applicable tests. Coordinates/plans the training schedule for the Quality Control Team. Executes training sessions as the primary trainer. Performs 360 review of the training sessions and continuously improves the effectiveness. Identifies refresher training frequency and coordinates/plans/executes refresher trainings. Primary trainee for method transfers from R&D and/or customers. Primary method transfer executor when transferring methods to customers as needed. Performs as a primary or secondary on method validations and verifications. Serves as primary trainee for new equipment installs from vendors and updates associated with SOP's. Trains others on new equipment. Participates in routine laboratory testing. Accurately records data and results in company laboratory notebooks and worksheets and maintains proper documentation. Follows procedures to assure a clean, safe, and organized lab. Enhances safely and safeguards the Company's proprietary information. Provides support for other departments as needed Other duties as assigned to assist the QC team. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in a science field and 2+ years of experience in GMP quality control laboratory training others, or equivalent combination of education and/or industry experience, required. Effective verbal and written communication skills Able to work with co-workers and Management proactively and in a team environment Shows problem solving abilities Experience in computer programs to include Microsoft, Word, Excel, Power Point and/or other computer programs Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
