Bon Secours Mercy Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Specialist - Remote in Cincinnati, Ohio

This EBP Nurse Specialist is responsible for:
Assisting in the development of infrastructure to support EBP
Supporting the development of an intake process for EBP ideas and projects
Supporting the development of a repository and communication plan for ongoing and completed EBP projects
Assisting in the development and facilitation of programing to support EBP capacity
Working synergistically with organizational leaders to improve healthcare outcomes by supporting the translation of nursing research/EBP and QI project into practice
Assisting with literature searches and synthesis tables and communication of best evidence to individuals, groups, colleagues, researchers and policy makers
Mentoring others in evidence-based decision making and the EBP processes
Implements strategies to sustain a nursing evidence-based culture
Seeking collaborate publication and presentation opportunities to disseminate EBP initiatives and BSMH outcomes
Assumes other duties as assigned
This is a PRN position that requires availability Monday - Friday between 8am-5pm EST
Required Minimum Education:
DNP
Specialty/Major:
Nursing
Licensure/Certification Required:
Registered Nurse (from an accredited program)
Minimum Years and Type of Experience:
3-5 years related experience
passion for collaborative work and relationship building with stakeholders across the ministry. Prior experience in evidence-based practice implementation, and sustainability.
