About the team Information Technology Our Tech and Security teams keep us moving each day, no matter where we are in the world. From the hardware to the networks and everything between, they humbly make it all happen. What you'll own * Design, develop, debug, and maintain software for applications running on IBM z/OS mainframes. * Collaborate with product managers and users to define business requirements and turn them into technical solutions. * Deploy new features into production with zero platform downtime and no impact to end customers. * Work in a "team focused" culture where strong collaboration and communication are critical. Where you'll own it North America: While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person. What you bring * 10 or more years of experience developing enterprise solutions in an IBM mainframe environment. * Extensive experience programming in IBM Assembler language. * Highly developed IBM mainframe technical skillset. * Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. * Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. * A bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience. * Ability to quickly grasp high-level business goals, derive requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Ability to fluidly change context and priorities based on changing business needs.
