Shift: 7-3:30p flex
Sign On Bonus: $25,000
To provide clinical and technical support to patients receiving care in the operating room. The major focus is on the scrub role, but may also include an assistant circulator role under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About the Operating Room:
UC Medical Center is the regions only level one trauma center and academic medical center. UCMC’s Perioperative Services is expanding with the construction of 8 additional state of the art operating suites, pre and post recovery bays, sterile processing and a new pre-admission testing clinic. Slated to open in early 2023, these additions will increase UC Health’s ability to provide outstanding care to patients and their families.
Primary Purpose:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Surgical Tech provides care to surgical patients and their families. The Surgical Tech plays a critical role in the patient experience, quality, safety and staff engagement with the overall goal of providing world class care that contributes to positive outcomes.
