Details: An Accountant job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH 45242. The Accountant will be a key member of the Finance and Accounting Team and will be responsible for various corporate accounting operations and play a role in the integration of acquisitions. This role will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day accounting for a few of the Company's businesses, including journal entries and coordination with operations and accounting support teams, while ensuring accuracy and completeness. Successful applicants are likely to have experience from a reputable accounting firm, exceptional work ethic, and prior general accounting experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -Perform all general accounting processes (including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet and income statement reviews) for a few of the Company's domestic businesses. -Manage the daily banking relationship and administer the banking portal for the entire organization. -Manage the company-wide pay card program. -Train subsidiary teams on banking portal and Belcan corporate accounting policies and procedures. -Assist foreign and domestic subsidiaries with requests as needed. -Proactively identify process improvements and facilitate such changes within the organization. -Assist in acquisition integration into Belcan processes, systems and procedures. -Prepare and provide external auditors with requested items during annual audit process. -Assist FP&A team with inquires and analyses upon request. -Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, as needed. -Perform other activities and special projects, as needed. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. -Minimum of 2+ years of experience, public accounting experience preferred. -Experience with JDE preferred. -An excellent knowledge of US GAAP is required, combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues. -Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment. -Ability to execute and follow-through to produce complete, accurate and timely deliverables. -Attention to detail and accuracy are required. -Must be able to work in person 5 days a week. We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position offers a pay range of $55,000*to $70,000.
