Citigroup AVP, Central Controls – EUC Quality Assurance Sr Analyst (Philippines - Hybrid) in City of Taguig, Philippines
This role is responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) reviews across the entire End-User-Computing (EUC) lifecycle to verify adherence. As part of the EUC Remediation Programme, an end-to-end framework is being re-designed to execute QA reviews in line with defined methodology with the EUC Policy and Standards.
Responsibilities:
Execute quality assurance reviews of in-scope EUCs across Citi businesses and functions.
Proactive engagement with business/functions EUC owners in performing QA reviews and obtaining required supporting documentation
Identify and escalate emerging risks or gaps resulting from QA testing findings and engage with business partners in support of root cause analysis.
Identify, document, and communicate issues as well as recommending appropriate and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues. Additionally, monitoring of agreed remedial action plans to ensure timely completion.
Focus on continuous control improvements across all areas to ensure continued improvement of the control framework in an efficient, cost effective, streamlined, and value-add manner.
Provide support, as and when needed, to other EUC Remediation Programme book of work
Qualifications:
5+ years of analytical / control testing work experience
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills (a must) and the ability to translate complex concepts in a concise manner
Openness to challenge and continuously challenging the status quo
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, highly matrix, dynamic environment
Self-motivated, highly adaptive, and able to work well under high stress
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; extensive experience in area of focus; previous experience managing a diverse staff
Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) and certifications (CFA, FRM) preferred
