Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer and technicians - which involves scheduling repairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billing repair orders, entering work orders into the computer system, ordering shop supplies according to procedures and consulting with insurance companies. This is a Monday - Friday, second shift position. Pay: $50,000 - $70,000/year base salary (based on certifications, experience, etc.) + Service Counter Incentive Program Shift: Monday - Friday - 3:30 p.m. - midnight Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates. Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs. Provide effective communication to customers regarding their job orders by preparing estimates for repair work and parts; monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing. Work closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work. Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner. Maintain inventory of parts, paint and materials necessary for repair functions. All other duties as assigned.

Education Associates of Diesel Technology (preferred) High School or GED of General (required)
