Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to add a Product Manager to our team. In this collaborative role, you will work in the Apex or Claremont, NC, offices five days a week.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
As a Product Line Manager, you will play a meaningful role in managing our fiber drop cable assembly portfolio. This will include identifying and developing products satisfying new customer needs and maintaining existing portfolios day-to-day and
With the support of your manager and other PLMs, you will manage the portfolio and financial performance of the product line. Partnership is key as you will work with them to build business plans, cost targets, pricing guidance, and channel recommendations for new products. Here, you willbe responsible for new product launches, including defining requirements, establishing pricing, and creating marketing collateral. Research competitive products by sharing the voice of the customer (VOC), data on competitive products, and lessons learned from previous development initiatives. Supporting our global business unit, you'll have the opportunity to travel globally to manufacturing sites and trade shows. Part of your role will be to evaluate product performance relative to market and recommend changes to reduce cost, improve lead time and improve product performance.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:
A completed Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of product management or technical experience with Fiber drop cable assemblies(outside plant).
Proficiency with the MS Office Product Portfolio, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Consistent track record of communicating effectively in a technical environment and to non-technical audiences
Ability to travel 20% of the time in the US and Mexico
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
Experience working with outside plant connectors, cables, or related fiber optic experience.
General understanding of business finance and P&L
Experience with new product launches
