Career Connection Network Field Service Technician in CLARENCE, New York

We are seeking technicians with a knack for electronics and mechanical systems along with hands on electric / assembly repair experience. These openings require the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 100% of the time along with a valid, clean driver licenses and credit card.Details:Direct hire, full-time openingsPay range of $22 - $29/hr. (depending on experience)BENEFITS like PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401K + match and more!Job Description: The Field Service Technician travels to customer sites to perform a variety of duties that focus on the repair, maintenance and installation of specific machine tool products and provides customer training in support of specific machine installations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Install new products, including equipment start-up and functional testing followed by customer training in maintenance and operation.Diagnose and correct machine and control problems, including repair and rebuilding of both obsolete and current product.Responsible for documentation of machine data, service history and quality information.Interact with Marketing to support sales of machinery and tooling.Assist customers with parts identification and ordering.Demonstrate products as necessary in support of sales.Communicate with the regional managers to insure customer expectations are met and important information is passed on to the proper parties.Maintain prompt communication of expense reports, service reports, etc. on a weekly basis.Make recommendations for changes and improvements as may be developed through field service activity.Qualifications:Two (2) year Technical Associates Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Laser technology) or the equivalent combination of technical school training and military / industrial experience required.Minimum two (2) years related hands on electronic/assembly repair experience required. Previous CNC fabrication machinery equipment repair strongly desired.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact with others.Customer service orientated and safety conscious.Able to use voltmeter, oscilloscope in addition to other electronic test equipment; precision measuring tools/fixtures.Demonstrated aptitude for electronics and mechanical systems.Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft office environment, Work, Excel, e-mail), internal network.Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 100% of the time.Must posses a valid, clean driver license and credit card.Must be able to lift /move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.Ability to be exposed to dust, odor, oil, fumes and noise in a manufacturing environment.Apply today and call (716) 630-7008 for more information!
