Robert Half VP/Director of Finance in Clarence, New York
Description We are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to join our team located in CLARENCE, New York. You will be expected to take charge of leading the Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, Inventory, and Information Technology Departments. This role requires a high level of responsibility, including partnering with business managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting and data analysis, maintaining proper controls, and aligning business objectives with management and executives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, Inventory, and Information Technology Departments.
• Partner with business managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain proper controls across various departments.
• Conduct accurate financial and data analysis.
• Interface with the executive team for strategic decision making.
• Align business objectives with management and executives to ensure operations remain on track.
• Report on metrics to optimize growth and identify efficiencies.
• Oversee annual budget processes and auditing.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems.
• Maximize scalability throughout the year. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 10 years experience in a finance leadership role
• Proven experience in Annual Budget development and implementation
• Demonstrable skills in Auditing and Internal Control
• Proficiency in managing Budget Processes
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic financial decisions
• Proficiency in using financial software and databases
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic approach
• Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
