QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Must demonstrate a good understanding of time management, organization and documentation skills. Must interact with the mental health population and with dignity and respect. Must deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Must practice regular consultation and collaboration of client care in with the LIP's to provide optimal client care. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school education or equivalent; and
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or
- Hold a certification as a CNA or an EMT
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in mental health recovery.
