We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in Clearwater, Florida. The role primarily involves maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

Responsibilities:

• Processing transactions and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.

• Assisting in the accounts receivable and payable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Ensuring accuracy in data entry and in preparing and issuing invoices.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

• Assisting with month-end close processes.

• Processing payroll accurately and on time.

• Ensuring the correct use of QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

• Monitoring financial transactions and reports.

• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

This is a permanent position that will pay up to $58,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!

Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles

• Proficient with data entry tasks

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Payroll processing

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is a must

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
