Bahnson Mechanical Systems has utilized its extensive mechanical engineering and construction experience to solve our client's most challenging problems for over 107 years. Based in the southeast, we are a premiere design-build mechanical contractor that serves the industrial, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and mission critical markets.
SUMMARY
Bahnson Mechanical Systems (BMS) Interns will be exposed to the full breadth of our business via interaction with, and support of, senior designers, project management, estimators, coordination and design draftsmen, prefabrication, building automation controls, QC/QA staff, and sales department. There are two different internship opportunities within Bahnson Mechanical Systems. They include New Project Management positions, and Project Management Internship with either 6 or 4 semesters completed
Initial day to day activities for individuals who have not previously interned with Bahnson Mechanical Systems will include 3D system modeling, load calculation, system sizing and layout, system integration, estimating, submittal preparation and review, as well as other tasks.
For interns that have completed four semesters, initial day to day activities will include a field assignment somewhere in the south eastern United States where they will report to a field supervisor and lean the mechanical HVAC trade with a hands on approach. Per diem will be provided to cover lodging and food expenses.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
➢ Project Management Internship Positions – Minimum 6 semesters completed

COMPUTER SKILLS
Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Strong internet searching and research capabilities
