Laundry Attendant
PeopleReady of Clermont, FL is now hiring Laundry Attendants! As a Laundry Attendant you will be working either the Clean Side or Soiled Side. Clean side is responsible for folding towels, wash clothes or running sheets through a machine to be folded. Soiled side will be sorting soiled linens, towels, wash clothes from a hospital environment to be wasted.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $13 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Laundry Attendant:
Receiving and marking articles for laundry or dry-cleaning with identifying code numbers or names
Sorting, washing, drying, and folding/hanging articles per customer/supervisor instructions
Cleaning machine filters and requesting maintenance when appropriate
Feeding sheets through machine to be folded
Folding towels
Running clothes and sheets through washing cycles
Sorting, Washing, Drying and Folding/Hanging articles per instructions

Job requirements:
Previous experience in laundry, dry-cleaning, or housekeeping preferred.
General knowledge of laundering products and able to work frequently with cleaning chemicals.
Strong work ethic and a focus on continual improvement.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently reach, bend, carry, and balance items.
