9050 N Church Drive,Parma Heights,Ohio,44129,United States of America DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Parma Heights Dialysis Center in Parma Heights, OH. Dialysis Experience and Certification Preferred, but willing to train the right person! Some details about this position: Operational Hours: MWF 4:00am - 7:30pm, TTHS 4:00am - 3:30pm (rotational scheduling) Hours of work may vary during the orientation/training period PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am. Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license Requirements: You are reliable (attendance is crucial), love to learn, have a desire to help people, are looking for a career with a company you can grow with, are comfortable with early shifts and long hours on your feet, and love a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent Must be comfortable working around blood and needles Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients. Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed. Some healthcare experience required: including CNA/STNA, Phlebotomy, Certified Medical Assistant Dialysis Experience preferred: including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT). What you can expect: Direct Patient Care.Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Our PCTs care for up to 4-5 patients at a time. Technician Duties. In the morning, the opening PCT is coming in to get the water room ready and the bicarb for the patients. They are testing the water for chlorine, checking to make sure the tools are calibrated. There are a lot of duties in the morning. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
