Director, Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Program
The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking applicants for Director of the Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Program. This position is in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and encompasses both traditional blood and marrow transplantation as well as current and future cellular therapies including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell and other immune effector cell therapies. It is a unique opportunity to grow a world-class program in the care of TCT patients. The current program offers multidisciplinary clinics and close collaboration with colleagues from cell processing and radiation programs. Plans for continued expansion are actively taking place and the position requires an exceptional individual to take the program to the next level.
The Director of the TCT Program is responsible for building a robust program that will offer coordinated care and will work to improve the outcomes of patients throughout the Cleveland Clinic catchment area. They will provide strong leadership, expanding the Section's clinical and research programs and assist in recruiting high caliber talent into the organization. They will support the provision of a strong patient-oriented care and support Cleveland Clinic associates and referring physicians. The Program Director will clearly and effectively articulate the direction, mission, and values of the Cleveland Clinic to the associates and employees who work within the TCT Program and its related areas.
The successful candidate should be board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio and must also fulfil criteria to lead FACT accreditation. The Director should have sufficient qualification to be eligible for an academic appointment at the level of Associate or Full Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
