Executive Specialty Sales Consultant - (Cleveland, OH) PURPOSE The Executive Specialty Sales Consultant role is for the top performing sales consultants who possess a very high level of skills. target, develop, assess, and maintain a thorough understanding of customers, stakeholders and marketplace dynamics. long standing business relationships with key customers and in-depth knowledge of the key drivers, influences and prescribing patterns in the assigned territory. understands and performs with unique needs of orphan disease market and customers.provides quality consultative information to the professionals/customer. sells,coordinates and promotes complex products/services within assigned territory. services key accounts, develops prospects, and coordinates sales and marketing programs. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role, Executive Specialty Sales Consultant, are: Customer focus/building positive relationships-impact with indications in undeveloped market and compete in established market. penetration of large accounts and success with key decision makers. creative thoughtprocess in developing a customer base. Create territory plan including goals and resource allocation (coverage, tactics, support) for key customers. Gain account formulary acceptance, understand specialty pharmacy and product stocking where applicable. Scientific understanding of clinical papers. Teaming with customers as a business partner-proactive in seeking out potential customers, maintain knowledge of long term trends and patterns to create account business plans Utilize consultative skills in assisting customer with their business Market/sell Bayer products Timely expense reports, it tools, stay current on product information Must follow bayer and pharmaceutical compliance code Consistently meet or exceed established targets WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: BA/BS required Orphan disease or specialty cardiovascular experience required. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
