Aerotek Maintenance Technician (1st & 2nd Shift) in Cleveland, Ohio
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer $25-$33/HR
Work Environment
2 Openings:
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift: 3pm-11pm ($1.50 SHIFT PREMIUM)
Currently working around 50hrs/week including Saturdays (no production is run on Saturday, so they do a lot of PM's and projects that require equipment to be shut down)
$25-33/hr - Based on experience
Flow Polymers makes chemical additives to various industries that manufacture rubber. The work environment can be dusty in some areas, but respirators/face masks are not required.
Job Description
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of chemical mixing equipment including grinders/mills, rotary equipment, conveyors, vacuum systems, pumps, and motors.
1st shift maintenance will be majority reactive maintenance, 2nd shift will be a lot more preventative maintenance work.
Clean, lubricate, or adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments.
Complete work orders through the maintenance system as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Read blueprints and electrical schematics, as well as engineered drawings from internal engineers.
Empty dust collection units multiple times per week.
General facility maintenance as needed.
Change dies in milling/cutting machines for different production jobs (powders and pellets).
Perform other duties as assigned.
