Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF) The Procurement Analyst is an individual contributor role reporting to the Procurement Manager for Commercial and Payments within Key's Corporate Procurement group. The Procurement Analyst is a shared resource supporting a manager and group of Strategists. Under minimal supervision, responsibilities for a Procurement Analyst include: reviewing, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting relevant data for assigned category or support team, supporting Procurement Management and Strategists in the development and execution of identified strategies and preparing and presenting information/findings in a concise and understandable format. Success criteria include: strong analytical acumen, project management skills, ability to work independently, problem-solving and sound judgement, presentation skills, collaboration with team members at multiple levels and ability to establish reputation as a knowledgeable and responsive team player. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS What, How and Outcome Analyze, summarize and present relevant data for assigned category or support team Conduct analysis on data which may include: spend, market data, pricing, volume etc. to contribute to strategy development and execution Summarize, interpret and present findings in a concise and understandable format Utilize strong written communication skills in the development and delivery of presentations, email communications, etc. Leverage advanced skills with Microsoft tools including; Excel, PowerPoint, Word as needed to deliver information Proactively update and manage department tracking tools and data repository as needed Strategic decisions are made based on accurate data and information Information and findings are communicated in a thorough and concise manner Important data and information are maintained and readily accessible Support Procurement Category Team in the development and execution of identified category or LOB strategy Provide day-to-day assistance to Consumer & Digital Procurement Team in support of business objectives Orchestrate, organize and prioritize assignments to support needs of the group and/or business Develop project plans as needed Ask insightful questions; demonstrate ability to solve issues/problems that arise Use judgement and escalate issues/ exceptions as needed Support Strategists in monitoring vendor's adherence to established performance metrics Understand client/LOB strategy for assigned category Demonstrate proficiency with bank and department-specific systems Provide RFx support and analysis Category Managers and Strategists are able to focus on strategic-level work and assignments Workload is organized and prioritized based on needs of the business Issues are identified and escalated; risk is mitigated Level of support is elevated given the level of business knowledge Develop effective and collaborative relationships Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Category Managers, Strategists and Analysts within and outside assigned functional area Demonstrate strong ability to partner with Procurement Support teams including: Legal, Solutions, Third-Party Risk Mgmt., etc. Act as team player open to participating on project teams and supporting other areas of the business as needed Category Managers and Strategists rely on Analyst as approachable, knowledgeable and responsive resource Analyst has collegial and professional relationship with, and is respected by, management, co-workers and partners REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 2 years minimum professional experience Ability to analyze, summarize and interpret complex data and information; can move logically from findings to conclusions Can prepare and present data/findings in a concise and under
