Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44144 ABOUT THE JOB This role is part of the Fraud Risk Management team, which is a second line of defense (2LOD) risk team within Operational Risk. Fraud Risk Management has responsibility for oversight of fraud risk horizontally across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Fraud Risk Assessment Leader, the Risk Analyst is responsible for aiding in the development and execution of processes, tools and documentation to support the Enterprise-wide oversight of fraud risks, inclusive of internal and external fraud. Key areas of focus will be to provide oversight for fraud risks, including establishing and maintaining fraud scheme library; providing review and challenge in conjunction with the operational risk LOB oversight teams to the LOBs for risks, controls, and programs related to fraud; reviewing fraud related findings/issues and providing fraud oversight to leadership and working with the LOBs to create and monitor risk indicators for fraud. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Possess a strong understanding of fraud risks, and risk and issues management processes in order to identify and monitor fraud risks and issues within the organization. Able to review and challenge findings, RCSA controls and risk rating results, in accordance with the Operational Risk Policies and guidelines. Have a deep understanding of fraud risks and be able to apply knowledge of this skill to maintain and update the fraud scheme library. Review reports and analyses performed on findings review with leadership on a monthly basis. Develop and maintain department procedures and establish a well-managed process. Participate and/or lead operational risk related projects, initiatives, working groups or other tasks as assigned to meet team objectives. Present results of finding, controls and risk analysis along with recommendations in one-on-one conversations and within group settings. Identify new opportunities for control and reporting enhancements. Remain abreast of changes in the Fraud industry. Develop/leverage industry contacts to obtain peer intelligence and best practices. Support LOBs and other corporate initiatives to strengthen the fraud risk oversight processes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma 3+ years fraud/risk management experience first, second or third line Understanding of fraud related controls and issues Sound understanding of fraud risks, schemes and internal control frameworks Experience working/managing projects across multiple functional areas and dealing with multiple business partners. Excellent problem-solving abilities and results oriented; escalate issues and concerns timely and as appropriate Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficient PC skills with experience in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, GRC Ability to adapt to change and communicate changing requirements. Fast learner who seeks out and generously shares best practices Flexibility to switch priorities based on the needs of the company in a fast-paced environment. Ability to grasp complex processes quickly and be able to identify risks and compensating controls. Excellent problem-solving abilities and results oriented; able to make decisions independently. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or any related analytical field 5+ years of working in Fraud/Risk Management domain concentrated in second line of defense. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $72,000 to $92,0 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
