The SBS Operations Analyst is a strategic position responsible for assisting in the optimization of Sherwin-Williams Business Services. Working across all levels and departments, you'll drive efficiency through projects focused on standardization, automation, and improved reporting. This role will energize teams, analyze data, and identify opportunities to enhance quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Drive continuous improvement Promote transactional lean with the goal of creating synergies, lowering costs and improving processes Identify and implement changes to enhance reporting, streamline reconciliations and adjust processes to gain efficiencies across the department Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting Understand, enhance, and promote internal controls Understand the current control environment and promote standard controls globally Identify and recommend opportunities to strengthen policies, processes, and procedures Create Synergies across the department and systems: Accurately assess information requests and business situations to determine methods and procedures of addressing complex business needs while understanding the underlying accounting and financial impacts Lead projects to enhance reporting, streamline account reconciliations and adjust processes to gain efficiencies across the department Develop, use existing, or research new tools that efficiently promotes changes in existing processes including streamlining account reconciliations, payment methods and internal processes to reduce costs as a percent of sales Assist with organizational changes and with future projects: Determine appropriate course of action for various ongoing and future projects including system implementations, system enhancements/upgrades and control compliance related to the respective teams Act as subject matter expert during acquisitions, global expansion, cross functional department activities and system enhancements/upgrades Analytics and reporting Assist with Timely Production of Reports: Help ensure the timely production of SBS targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Aid in Dashboard and Report Development: Assist in designing and developing accurate dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids to inform and influence the decisions of internal clients and business leaders. Support Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing data to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making. POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 1+ years in Finance areas 1+ Years with metrics and financial functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment Strong customer service orientation 1+ years experience in process improvement experiences and automation Process improvement knowledge Preferred: Experience with procure to pay or other financial shared services functions Strong aptitude with ERP systems, with the ability to promote standard functionality Knowledge of current trends and industry best practices Strong data mining, reporting and analytical skills Significant experience in accounting, financial shared services, or information systems TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform consistently, multi-tasking as necessary, and demonstrating good communication and organizational skills.
