The Analytics Services & Tools team is hiring an AI/ML Data Science Lead to build new A.I. processes for the bank, and drive better and faster decisions through data and predictive models. We are seeking an inspirational leader to work cross-functionality with multitude business units, mainly with Operations & Technology teams, and eventually guide a team of data scientists in creating advanced AI models, predictive solutions, and state-of-the-art AI insights to increase revenue, reduce cost, and improve operational efficiencies. We need a hands-on independent leader with expertise in various AI techniques, such as clustering, classification, and regression models, leveraging mainly the Vertex AI platform. This role also requires a strong advocate for MLOps to ensure team productivity and efficiency, along with a deep understanding of Vertex AI to build scalable models with best practices. Essential Job Functions * Leadership and Technical A.I. Work Management: o Create a business and technical plan to deliver AI insights to different lines of businesses, including the Consumer and Commercial organization. o Develop and execute the strategic vision working with various vendors, SOWs, and eventually creating your own team o Ensure the team delivers high-quality predictive models and forecasting solutions that drive business value * Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science projects o Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner * Creating meaningful models that deliver business value: o You will be developing classification, regression, time series, clustering and other types of AI models that aim at driving better business for KeyBank o You will create patterns in Vertex AI that can be reused to create faster and better models that get better over time o You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs and drive value for their business * Model and AI Governance: o You will ensure the AI models you and your team will be creating are confirm to KeyBank's standards and model governance o You will ensure we have proper supervision and monitoring of our models, catch data drifts, and take action when models don't deliver desired outcomes o You will advocate for and enforce best practices in data science and machine learning workflows * Continuous Learning and Innovation: o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI o Wor
