We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Accounting Assistant for a Cleveland area thriving manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience and be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivables is required for this position. This is a permanent position with a starting salary ranging $45/k - $47k depending upon experience. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8a-5p with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
Responsible for processing accounts payable, including verification of invoices and payments based on
established cycle and company standard accounting system. Also performs other accounting and clerical duties.
1.Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must
complete online safety training each month as assigned
Process roll stock A/P invoices, and bill of ladings
A/P data entry
Audit and reconcile delivery expense
Sort and file out-going bill of ladings
Scan and distribute customer credit memos
Prepare weekly A/P checks for approval and mailing
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Daily clerical functions
Welcomes and directs visitors, in person and via phone
Generate reports and gather information as required
Regular and predictable attendance.
The essential functions of this role include:
