Job Description PSE's Clean Energy Strategy team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful operation, growth, and continuous improvement of PSE's clean energy plans. This person serves as a liaison across all work streams related to the CEIP and Integrated System Plan, providing support and guidance to various teams, flagging issues that may incur risk, and developing mitigation plans as appropriate. Oversees execution of multiple groups to achieve targets and commitments made in the CEIP. A successful candidate will manage scope and schedule for a project or portfolio of projects related to Clean Energy Strategy, with minimal supervision that carry medium risk and financial impact. Projects may involve cross functional teams, regulatory, Marketing function and other internal teams. The position initiates projects, including internal and external stakeholder commitments, demonstration of business need and project feasibility. Leads project teams to identify time frame, methods for accomplishing the project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Works with stakeholders to develop contractor statements of work, bid documents, and coordination of estimates. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. Job Responsibilities Assembles and leads multi-disciplinary project teams within Clean Energy Strategy.Identifies the scope of an assigned project and decides logical action to meet project requirements and deadlines. Drives solutions and cohesion among parties on issues related to clean energy strategy and regulation. Provides guidance and direction on tracking mechanisms for presentations to leadership. Coordinates with internal teams on the implementation and development of specific actions. Oversee improvement in existing processes, including development of process improvement and procedural documents Support in managing the Integrated System Plan, and building the new Plan. Illustrates a roadmap to get information from all the teams related to Clean Energy Strategy Communicate and manage the customer relationship as the primary point of contact. Accurately identify customer needs for internal teams, set reasonable expectations, identify potential issues and share alternatives. Perform effective upfront project planning and advocacy of PSE's operational objectives to minimize costs and change orders, identify risks, and maximize efficiency through negotiation and conflict resolution. Validate and refine the scope of an assigned project and decides logical action to meet project requirements and deadlines. Recognizes technical issues that impact the projects under their leadership, and obtains resources to mitigate project risks.
