VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced full time Surgery Veterinary Technician / CVT to join the team at our AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice in Coconut Creek.

We provide Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry, and more, open Monday 7:30am - 8pm, Tuesday through Thursday 7:30am - 7pm, Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, closed Sunday.

About the Role
As Veterinary Technician, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:
Compassionate patient care
Client education and care
Venipuncture and catheter placement
Radiology and diagnostics
Lab sample collection and processing
Surgical preparation and assisting
Anesthesia monitoring
Dentistry
Medication preparation and administration
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Medical recordkeeping
