Employer\'s name, Geographic location, and Need:

KMC Construction, Inc. D.B.A Vermont Construction Company (Vermont Construction Company), a roofing and construction contractor doing residential and commercial work, located in Colchester, Vermont, seeks eight (8) full-time, seasonal Roofers to install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings during the warmer months, from April 1, 2025 to November 1, 2025.

Worksite location is Colchester, Vermont, with travel needed.

Job description:

The installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Duties include but are not limited to: removing old roofing materials; installing new roofs using materials such as shingles, asphalt, and metal; sealing roof joints and edges to prevent water leakage; repairing and replacing damaged or worn sections of the roof; measuring and cutting roofing materials to fit around obstacles such as chimneys and vents; inspecting roof conditions and determining necessary repairs; cleaning work areas and equipment after completing tasks; adhering to safety standards and regulations on the job site. Position requires ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights; familiarity with various roofing systems and materials; ability to work in various weather conditions; must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team; valid drivers license preferred; willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed; be able to pass background check; clean driving records; able to communication with basic English.

Terms and conditions of employment:

\$24.29/hour at 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (schedule varies). Overtime rate of pay is at least \$36.44/hour. Overtime available as needed.

Inbound transportation:

From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimbursement of payment of transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.

Outbound transportation:

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker\'s reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical or reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Daily transportation:

The employer will provide daily transportation to and from worksites.

Disclosure of daily subsistence amount:

Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59 per day with receipts.

3/4ths guarantee not required due to 2016 Omnibus:

3/4ths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Provision of tools, equipment, and supplies:

The employer will provide to workers at no charge: all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Single work week guarantee:

The employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due.

Frequency of pay:

The pay period is weekly.

Statement of deductions from workers\' pay: The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.

Reimbursement of border, visa, and related fees:

The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.

Provision of board, lodging, or other facilities:

The employer will provide housing at \$700/month. Employee can choose to find their own housing at their own cost.
