Aerotek Quality Inspector in Colonial Heights, Virginia
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Responsibilities
Inspect pre-pack and final pack operations, including bags, labels, weights, measurements, and box assemblies.
Set and maintain quality standards in collaboration with other departments.
Verify elements visually, functionally, and dimensionally using LEGO standards.
Manage non-conforming materials, including disposition and traceability.
Generate daily reports and conduct process audits.
Maintain the 5S organizational system within the work area.
Report any quality events and coordinate containment measures.
Participate in problem-solving analysis and daily indicator reporting.
Engage in training sessions as required.
Essential Skills
3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with visual inspection and testing equipment.
Proficiency in quality control, assurance, and checks.
Competence in inventory control and material handling.
Forklift operation and computer skills.
Ability to conduct visual inspections and use RF scanning technology.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of quality management and PC management (Excel and email).
Preferable previous experience as a quality auditor.
Desirable: Management of SAP.
Ability to pass vision and color blindness tests.
Proactive learning and effective communication skills.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Teamwork and leadership abilities.
Decision-making and customer focus.
Result orientation and innovation.
Data analysis skills.
Desirable: Ability to train others with patience.
