Key Responsibilities Strategic Pursuit & Capture: Lead for the Mission Systems Group (MSG) the identification, pursuit, and capture of opportunities, focusing on high-value contracts with Federal agencies. Develop winning strategies and proposals that align with the objectives of these agencies. Technical Leadership: Provide leadership and vision in areas such as Systems Engineering and Integration, cyber exploitation and defense, and defense, research & development, experimentation, evaluation, analysis, Satellite Command & Control, and Launch Range Safety. Drive the development of innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies. Determine gaps in MSG offering and pursue teaming opportunities Business Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and industry partners. Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive the growth of the company's defense portfolio. Maintain the business pipeline through the business acquisition process. Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals that address the requirements and evaluation criteria of targeted RFPs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical, cost, and management volumes are aligned, integrated and executable. Market Analysis & Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis and gather intelligence on upcoming procurements, trends, and shifts in government priorities. Use this knowledge to guide business development strategies and technical investments. Identify new and emerging markets. Innovation & R&D Leadership: Collaborate with internal R&D teams to align their work with upcoming opportunities. Drive innovation within the company to ensure that emerging technologies and methodologies are incorporated into proposal strategies.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent years of experience in related market. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Space/Intel Market, and/or business development role focused on Federal Government procurements. Demonstrated success in winning and/ or managing high-value contracts. Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of the applicable technologies and methodologies, specifically in Space related domains. Business Acumen: Strong business development skills with a proven track record in building relationships with Federal agencies and winning new business. Ability to navigate complex government procurement processes. In-depth understanding of government budgeting and acquisition process. Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Ability to travel regularly to customers & ENSCO facilities. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad audience and to craft compelling proposals. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and employees.
